Crown Point Announces $10 Million Bought Deal Equity Financing

Crown Point Ventures Ltd. (the “Company”) is pleased to announce that it has entered into an agreement with Wellington West Capital Markets Inc. (the “Underwriter”) pursuant to which the Underwriter has agreed to purchase 6,452,000 common shares of the Company (“Common Shares”) at a price of $1.55 per Common Share (the “Offering Price”) for aggregate gross proceeds of $10,000,600 (the “Offering”). The Company has also granted the Underwriter an option to acquire up to an additional 1,290,400 Common Shares at the Offering Price for additional gross proceeds of up to $2,000,120.

The Common Shares are being offered on a private placement basis in all of the provinces of Canada, except Quebec, and in other jurisdictions pursuant to applicable exemptions from registration and prospectus requirements. The Offering is scheduled to close on or about December 14, 2010 and is subject to the completion of formal documentation and regulatory approval, including the acceptance of the TSX Venture Exchange.

The net proceeds of the Offering will be used to fund the Company’s ongoing capital program in Argentina and for general corporate purposes.
