Brian J. Moss Ph.D.
President and Chief Executive Officer
Brian J. Moss has more than 16 years of experience in the Argentine oil and gas industry, holding senior Latin American-focused positions at Alberta Energy Company, Rio Alto and Antrim Energy before joining Crown Point. In total, Brian has more than 31 years of experience in the oil and gas industry in both private and public companies. Dr. Moss has a well-developed skill set in both business development and exploration and development, and has successfully built and managed operations in the San Jorge, Austral, Neuquén and Northwest Basins. Dr. Moss holds a Ph.D. in Petroleum Geology from the Royal School of Mines, University of London, UK and is a member of the Association of Professional Engineers, Geologists and Geophysicists of Alberta.
Vice President Finance and Chief Financial Officer
Prior to joining Crown Point in 2015, Ms. Tormakh served as financial coordinator at Grupo ST S.A. and as Director of Capital Markets at Banco Servicios y Transactiones S.A. Both are privately held Argentine companies operating in the financial services, insurance and real estate industries and affiliated with Crown Point’s largest shareholder, Liminar Energía S.A. Prior to her roles at these companies, Ms. Tormakh served as Chief Financial Officer for two business service companies in Argentina for eight years, and prior thereto was the managing director of Macro Valores (an Argentine brokerage house).
Manager, Engineering and Production
Franco Chavez has more than 13 years of experience in the Argentine oil and gas industry having held positions of increasing responsibility with Repsol YPF, Occidental, Sinopec and Crown Point. Mr. Chavez has experience in both reservoir and production engineering and has been responsible for the design and implementation of development drilling programs, secondary recovery and reservoir optimisation schemes, reserves and property evaluations and economic sensitivity studies. Mr. Chavez graduated from La Plata University in Argentina in 2003 with a degree in electronic engineering and in 2010 undertook post graduate studies in reservoir engineering at the Technical Institute of Buenos Aires.
